Janmashtami: Why Krishna was born in Rohini Nakshatra?

The birth of Lord Krishna is a significant event in Hindu mythology and is celebrated as Janmashtami, which falls on the eighth day (Ashtami) of the dark fortnight in the month of Bhadrapada (usually August or September). According to Hindu tradition, Lord Krishna was born in the Rohini Nakshatra (a lunar mansion or star cluster). There are several reasons and beliefs associated with why Krishna was born under the Rohini Nakshatra:

1. Astrological Significance: Rohini Nakshatra is considered one of the most auspicious and favorable Nakshatras in Hindu astrology. It is believed to be the Nakshatra of love, beauty, and creativity. Lord Krishna's birth in Rohini Nakshatra is seen as a divine alignment of celestial energies, symbolizing the embodiment of divine love and beauty in human form.

2. Spiritual Significance: Krishna's birth in Rohini Nakshatra is seen as a reflection of his divine qualities and his role as a loving and compassionate deity. His presence in this Nakshatra is believed to bring blessings of love, devotion, and harmony to his devotees.

3. Mythological Connection: According to Hindu mythology, Lord Krishna's birthplace is Mathura, and it is said that he appeared in this world to fulfill a divine purpose. The Rohini Nakshatra is associated with the moon, which represents the mind and emotions. Lord Krishna's teachings and actions are often focused on guiding people to control their minds and emotions and to attain spiritual enlightenment.

4. Role in the Mahabharata: Lord Krishna played a crucial role in the Mahabharata, one of the most significant Hindu epics. His birth in Rohini Nakshatra is believed to be linked to his role as the charioteer and guide of Arjuna during the Kurukshetra War, where he delivered the Bhagavad Gita, a sacred text containing profound spiritual teachings.

Overall, the birth of Lord Krishna in the Rohini Nakshatra is considered a divine event, symbolizing the manifestation of divine love and wisdom on Earth. It is celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion by millions of Hindus during the festival of Janmashtami.

How to get rid of Nightmares?

Dreams play major role on our conscious and subconscious mind’s power of imagination and act accordingly on our emotional life. Its natural that people dream while asleep and day dream fantasising their desire. Research says that people who are more creative, dream a lot. I would say everyone who has emotional values in their life does dream. It is important for everyone to day dream, unless we dream and desire for our goals, we can not achieve them and best part of day dreaming is, it’s under our control. But dreaming something while asleep is out of our control. People say that dreams usually have messages for the near future. Astrologers interpret and predict many things based on the dream of the dreamer. Different regions and cultures have different meanings for all the dreams. There are thousands of perceptions on every dream in all the cultures and a book can be published on that. (Well, I may think on it!)   However, as per Hindu perceptions, importan...
